A Midsummer Music Drea/ Songe d'été en musique

This festival was started in 2006 by Pat, Kathy and Harris Becker to bring music to this beautiful part of Canada. Now in its 3rd year, the festival features music for guitar, flute, voice, violin and early instruments. It takes place in the town of Courcelles in te Eastern Townships of the Province of Quebec.

What a guitar duo!!!! Composed of Harris Becker and Pat Bianculli. Visit their site for upcoming concerts. Great place to learn about upcoming concerts (including ours!!) hear music and make friends.

Gotham Early Music Scene

Early Music is "where it all began" of the Middle Ages, renaissance, Baroque and early Classical periods...played on historic instruments and sung in period style.

Baroque Across the River

Early music group dedicated to performing on period instruments in period locations - historical sights in and around Brooklyn and the whole of New York City.

Jerry Willard is a fine guitarist and teacher. He plays modern as well as period guitars and lute. Jerry is the head of the guitar program at Stony Brook University.

Betsy Heffron is a painter who has an amazing eye for color. She has done the CD cover for GuitarX2's  recording mentioned above. To see her paintings, click on this hyperlink.


Yellowtail Records, based in Seattle, WA, produces excellent recordings of very fine artists. The music is eclectic, and features singer/songwriter, Andrew Ratshin, and classical guitarist, Hilary Field. is a great website for locating Early Music happenings around New York City. The site is run by musicians, and also our friends, Michael Sanita and Beverly Au. If your interest is in   hearing  performances on period instruments, then go and check out their site.

Kim Fisher, principal second violinist with the Philadelphia Orchestra, runs Strings Camp, for string players from 8 years of age through college. The emphasis is on solo and chamber playing, as well as supervised practicing.


The Douglas Gunn Ensemble, The DGE has been critically acclaimed and enthusiastically received at Festivals and concerts all over Ireland and abroad. The group broadcasts regularly on Radio and TV and has issued a number of recordings.
